We manage millions of containers
Together, our Container Logistics teams at our headquarters in Marseille and at all the Group's agencies worldwide manage a container fleet capacity of millions of TEU* - a task that cannot be underestimated. Responsible for dispatching containers of all shapes and sizes to the four corners of the world, they also optimize the repositioning of empty containers according to our customers’ geographical and seasonal needs, ensure each unit is in service and maintained in operational condition and coordinate the technical and administrative monitoring of the fleet across the globe.

As a member of our Container Logistics team, you will be responsible for:
- Dispatching the various containers
- Optimizing the repositioning of empty containers according to our customer’s geographic and seasonal needs.
- Ensuring that the Group’s container fleet is put into service and maintained in operational condition.
- Coordinating the technical and administrative monitoring of the container fleet.
More than just a box
We supply containers in all shapes and sizes to meet the specific needs of our customers and their cargo. Totaling 400,000 (TEUS) our fleet of Reefer containers is the second largest in the world. Specially designed for the transportation of perishable and sensitive goods, these refrigerated containers are handled by dedicated specialists with expert knowledge of all their technical features as well as a thorough understanding of the cargo they carry and the logistics involved.
The CMA CGM container fleet is young and highly diversified. Beyond our standard "dry" containers and our Reefer containers, we also supply open-top, flat-rack and high cube pallet versions for bulk cargo and we are constantly developing new tailormade solutions and eco-friendly innovations to exceed our customers’ expectations. Most recently, we introduced the AQUAVIVA container to transport live lobsters and other seafood in their natural habitat to the four corners of the world.
