The CMA CGM Foundation supports local community and humanitarian projects that bring concrete support to disadvantaged children: ill children or children whith disabilities and young people from underprivileged backgrounds.

CMA CGM Foundation - Forum des associations (Français)

Every year, the CMA CGM Foundation award grants to associations in France and Lebanon via a call for proposals and a prize. Since 2012, the Foundation has also been implementing a humanitarian initiative in partnership with NGOs that has become an emblem of the CMA CGM Group’s maritime transport activity: Containers of Hope. Finally, employees at the headquarters in Marseille bring their expertise to humanitarian associations through a skills-based sponsorship program.

The Foundation’s activities are structured around 5 key areas of intervention :

  • Containers of hope: a major humanitarian transport operation
  • Encourage the personal development of children with disabilities
  • Improve the day-to-day life of ill children and children victims of trauma
  • Promote equal opportunities for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds
