CMA CGM official partner of new James Bond Film: No Time To Die

The CMA CGM Group, a world leader in shipping, is pleased to announce its collaboration with filmmakers EON Productions on the 25th official James Bond film, No Time To Die, to be released in April 2020.

A dedicated international CMA CGM team

To support this unique partnership, a dedicated team was set up at the Group’s Head Office in Marseille and at CMA CGM-operated terminals in Kingston. Led by Tanya Saadé Zeenny, Executive Officer of the CMA CGM Group, the team was able to make this project a reality in record time.

CMA CGM teams at sea and ashore were fully committed to the success of filming. CMA CGM is thrilled to be a partner of the latest instalment in the James Bond series.

Two ships, a dozen CMA CGM crew members and 1,000 containers took part in filming

Filming of a key action sequence for No Time To Die took place in May 2019 at the Kingston South Quay Terminal in Jamaica, a CMA CGM-operated container terminal. Ideally located at the exit of the Panama Canal and the crossroads of the North/South and East/West lines, CMA CGM-operated Kingston South, West and North Quay Terminal is a strategic transhipment hub for the Group in the Caribbean.

Flying the French flag and under the leadership of French Masters, the vessels CMA CGM FORT SAINT GEORGES (2,260 TEUs[1]) and CMA CGM FORT DE FRANCE (3,504 TEUs) and more than 1,000 containers were used in the shoot. In addition, a dozen crew, including the Master, took part in the filming.

Movie to be released in April 2020

The film is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and stars Daniel Craig, who returns for his fifth film as Ian Fleming’s James Bond 007.

No Time To Die will be released globally from April 2nd, 2020 in the United Kingdom through Universal Pictures International and in the United States of America on April 10th from Metro Goldwyn Mayer via their United Artists Releasing banner.
