TANGRAM: TOGETHER, WE SHAPE TOMORROW.

TANGRAM is a center of excellence created by CMA CGM Group to build the future of sustainable shipping and logistics.
The mission
By leveraging learning and innovation, TANGRAM brings together CMA CGM Group staff members, startups, customers, partners, major corporations, research institutions, and universities to tackle the environmental, technological, and social challenges shaping the future of transport and logistics.
Inaugurated in May 2024 by Rodolphe Saadé, Chairman and CEO of the CMA CGM Group, in the presence of French President Emmanuel Macron, TANGRAM has quickly become a global benchmark for innovation and transformation. It embodies the Group’s commitment to investing in human capital and accelerating industry change to address major global challenges—environmental, societal, and geopolitical.
It is also a vibrant center for international events, hosting internal seminars and high-profile external gatherings that foster dialogue and collaboration among global leaders.
The meaning behind TANGRAM
TANGRAM is a Chinese game that sparks creativity. Using seven pieces of different shapes that form a perfect square, the goal is to create an endless variety of figures. It represents a world of infinite possibilities built from a limited number of pieces.
By bringing together contributions, exploration, and shared experience, the talents within TANGRAM pave new paths and drive the transformations needed in the transport and logistics sectors to meet tomorrow's challenges.
A blend of history and modernity
Designed by the renowned architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte and situated at the entrance to the Calanques National Park, this dynamic campus embodies the spirit of innovation and progress.
Each space is designed to foster connection, collaboration, and ideation through cutting-edge technologies and digital tools. TANGRAM is an open and fluid space that will facilitate the flow and cross-pollination of ideas.
