The CMA CGM Excellence Fund for Education supports exceptional students from diverse backgrounds, across socio-economic and geographic contexts, opening pathways to world-class universities, transformative education, and future leadership.

Launched in 2022 in response to Lebanon’s urgent social and economic challenges, the Excellence Fund for Education has since expanded to reflect CMA CGM’s global footprint and long-term investment in youth leadership. To date, the program has supported 330 students across multiple countries, connecting them to top-tier universities and preparing them to lead in the fields of trade, logistics, innovation, and sustainable development.

Application & Selection Process

The CMA CGM Excellence Fund ensures a fair and merit-based selection in close collaboration with our partner universities.

  1. University Admission

Students must first be admitted to one of our partner universities, according to each institution’s academic and admission standards.

  1. Scholarship Award

Once admitted, candidates are evaluated and selected directly by the university for a CMA CGM Excellence Fund scholarship, based on academic excellence, motivation, and financial need. This process guarantees an objective and transparent selection rooted in the university’s own admission framework.

Building a Supportive Community

Beyond financial support, the CMA CGM Excellence Fund for Education fosters a strong sense of belonging through the CMA CGM Scholars Network — a growing community of students and alumni connected across borders and disciplines.
