CMA CGM has just published its Non-Financial Performance Report, reflecting the Group's objectives, actions, and progress in terms of social and environmental responsibility.
The Group's CSR approach is structured around 3 pillars – Acting for Planet, Acting for People, Acting for Fair Trade – and priorities aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In 2024, the CMA CGM Group has strengthened its commitment to a sustainable growth model, increasingly respectful of the environment and humanity:
ACTING FOR THE PLANET
- More than 30 flagship biodiversity protection projects supported by the Group
- Order of new dual-fuel vessels capable of using low-carbon fuels, to reach 153 by 2029
- CEVA Logistics owns 1,100 alternative fuel vehicles, with a target of 1,450 by 2025
ACTING FOR PEOPLE
- 30,000 employees engaged in 780 local projects for the environment and communities
- 2,000 employees trained on climate, AI, and leadership topics at TANGRAM, the Group's new center of excellence
- Launch of the She sails program aiming to reach 500 women among crew members by 2026
ACTING FOR FAIR TRADE
- 1.2 million TEUs transported by our customers with the ACT+ low-carbon maritime solutions range
- CEVA Logistics has launched its own range of sustainable logistics solutions, CEVA FORPLANET
- CMA CGM receives the Responsible Supplier Relations & Procurement Label again
