Inauguration of Collège Loyola in Marseille: a modern and inclusive school supported by the CMA CGM Foundation

On November 13, 2025, the Collège Loyola in Marseille was inaugurated in presence of:
- Father Aimé Yoh, Director of the school
- Marie-Pierre Chabartier, Director of L'École de Provence
- Guillaume Prevost, Secretary General of Catholic Education
- Father Thierry Dobbelstein, Provincial of the Jesuits of Western Europe
- Cardinal Jean-Marc Aveline, Archbishop of Marseille
- Martine Vassal, President of the Bouches-du-Rhône Department
- Samia Ghali, Deputy Mayor of Marseille
- Isabelle Campagnola-Savon, President of Euroméditerranée
- Tanya Saadé Zeenny, President of the CMA CGM Foundation
Located in the heart of the rapidly transforming Euroméditerranée neighborhood, Collège Loyola is an ambitious educational initiative aiming to provide students with a quality learning environment. Since the start of the school year in September, two 6th-grade classes have opened. The school will gradually expand to welcome new classes, to eventually accommodate 500 students in 16 classes, from 6th to 9th grade.
In line with its longstanding support for education and youth, the CMA CGM Foundation has played a key role in making the school a reality. By supporting the project’s construction, the Foundation is helping create new opportunities for students in Marseille and reaffirms its commitment to the city’s social and educational development.
Conceived to promote social and cultural diversity, the school responds to the urgent need for educational infrastructure in an evolving neighborhood. Environmentally responsible and centered on student well-being, it also benefits from the academic excellence and educational expertise of the École de Provence.
With this inauguration, Collège Loyola positions itself as a key educational institution in Marseille. It enriches the range of schooling options in the northern neighborhoods and maintains close ties with families, residents, and local associations, fostering both the personal and academic development of its students.
