CMA CGM upgrades its Irish Sea Feeder network
CMA CGM upgrades its Irish Sea Feeder network.
The CMA CGM Group is pleased to announce the upgrade of its Irish Sea Feeder network through increased port coverage and frequency.
As from July 2013, CMA CGM will offer twice weekly fixed day calls in Liverpool and new weekly fixed day calls at the ports of Greenock on the West Coast of Scotland and Cork in the south of Ireland.
By opening a service from Greenock in addition to existing weekly calls from Grangemouth, CMA CGM will now offer an unrivalled service to the developing Scottish market, and from Liverpool, CMA CGM will offer connections to the Manchester Ship Canal offering all water service 40 miles inland to the heart of the North West of England.
The new feeder network will connect with CMA CGM services to the rest of the world via our first-class transshipment hub in Le Havre. CMA CGM will offer fast connections to weekly services to/from all corners of the globe with dedicated connections to vessels plying the Far East to Europe trade.
According to Rob Waterman, CMA CGM UK CEO: “This development underlines CMA CGM’s commitment to the port of Liverpool and its desire to improve service levels to customers in the North West.”
