The CMA CGM Group makes a new donation of 100,000 FFP2 face masks specially intended for Marseille hospitals

Deeply committed to the city of Marseille, where the Group’s head office has been located for over 40 years now, Rodolphe Saadé, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the CMA CGM Group, is donating 100,000 FFP2 face masks to the region’s healthcare facilities.

After its initial donation of 100,000 FFP2 masks on March 19th, the CMA CGM Group is bringing to bear all its expertise and its knowledge of export channels.

By leveraging its entire logistics network, the CMA CGM Group, a world leader in shipping and logistics, has been able to source a further donation of 100,000 FFP2 face masks for the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Regional Health Authority, which will allocate them to Marseille’s healthcare facilities in line with demand.

The CMA CGM Group, which operates worldwide, is taking all necessary precautions to keep its staff safe as they ensure the transportation and logistical delivery of basic necessities to France, including of pharmaceutical and food products.

The CMA CGM Group will continue its efforts to help tackle the pandemic and contribute to the national effort over the days and weeks to come.
