The CMA CGM Group donates 200,000 surgical masks to Algeria

The CMA CGM Group, a world leader in shipping and logistics, has donated 200,000 individual protective surgical masks. The masks were handed over today to the Algerian Red Crescent, which will distribute them according to health needs in consultation with the Ministry of Health, Population and Hospital Reform and the Central Pharmacy for Hospitals.
This donation and logistical support are a continuation of the Group’s efforts to help tackle the unprecedented health crisis. It highlights, more than ever, the Group’s commitment to and solidarity with all Algerians during the difficult period now facing the country, and particularly the medical staff.
Protective measures for the Group’s staff
The CMA CGM Group has also set up a comprehensive framework to protect the health of its staff. Teams continue to mobilize on a daily basis to support the transport and logistical delivery of goods, especially basic necessities, which Algeria needs.
