The CMA CGM Foundation supports a large-scale humanitarian operation coordinated by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs’ Crisis and Support Centre for civilian population in Gaza

The CMA CGM Foundation mobilizes the Group’s expertise, its staff members, and its maritime and logistics resources to deliver humanitarian aid around the world.
On Sunday, January 18, 2026, in partnership with the Crisis and Support Centre of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the CMA CGM Foundation shipped around 400 tonnes of nutritional products from le Havre to Port Said aboard the CMA CGM TOKYO. These products will be distributed by the World Food Programme to support 42,000 children on the Gaza Strip.
This new operation mobilizes 21 containers, representing over 25,540 cartons of Plumpy’Doz, a peanut-based nutritional supplement developed by Nutriset.
It is part of the partnership established in 2020 between the CMA CGM Foundation and the Crisis and Support Centre. This collaboration has made it possible to provide logistical support for the deployment of French humanitarian aid in response to numerous crises.
“Behind every humanitarian operation or social innovation, there are teams, well-managed logistics, and rapid decision-making. It is this expertise and excellence that the CMA CGM Foundation places at the service of the most vulnerable populations.” declared Tanya Saadé Zeenny, President of the CMA CGM Foundation.
The CMA CGM Foundation also develops innovative logistics solutions to support humanitarian action, such as the PharmaBox, a container converted into a mobile pharmacy for storing medicines and treatments against malnutrition in crisis areas.
