Foundation
The CMA CGM Foundation mobilizes 100 Group staff members to take part in the French Food Banks Federation’s National Food across mainland and overseas France.

In response to the ongoing rise in food insecurity, the CMA CGM Foundation is renewing its commitment for the fourth consecutive year to the French Food Banks Federation.
Once again this year, the CMA CGM Foundation is mobilizing over 100 Group staff members to participate in the National Food Drive, from November 28 to 30, in supermarkets and Food Bank warehouses in Marseille, Le Havre and the French overseas territories (Guadeloupe, Martinique and Réunion).
Global support from the CMA CGM Foundation:
- Financial support and regular donations of essential goods
The CMA CGM Foundation contributes to the distribution of balanced and varied meals in mainland France, particularly in the Bouches-du-Rhône department, as well as in the overseas territories (Réunion, Martinique and Guadeloupe), through financial assistance and donations of food items based on the association’s priority needs.
- Logistical support
Since 2020, nearly 7,400 tonnes of goods have been transported free of charge by road for Food Banks in mainland France, and more than 1,300 tonnes by sea for those in overseas territories. In Marseille, 20 trucks were also made available in 2024 and 2025 to transport products collected from supermarkets in the Bouches-du-Rhône to the Food Bank warehouse.
- Human support
Each year, nearly 100 staff members volunteer for the annual drives in Marseille, Le Havre, Guadeloupe, Martinique and staff members, in supermarkets and warehouses, working alongside the association’s volunteers.
