CMA CGM Foundation joins forces with La Caravelle to support women victims of violence and their children

On the occasion of International Women's Rights Day, the CMA CGM Foundation is supporting La Caravelle.
With solid experience and a deep commitment, La Caravelle runs a number of emergency and integration facilities, including specialized centers for women victims of violence. These facilities, located throughout the Bouches-du-Rhône region, offer a total of 67 places for women and about 50 for children. Each facility is supervised by a specific authority, which guarantees adequate and effective care.
La Caravelle's mission goes far beyond providing shelter: it includes offering comprehensive social support as part of a project of reconstruction and recovery. The women we welcome are listened to, reassured and supported in their efforts to achieve autonomy and social reintegration. The length of stay is adapted to the needs of each individual, with the aim of enabling each person to find a permanent housing solution and rebuild her life with dignity.
The CMA CGM Foundation, sensitive to the needs of women in vulnerable situations, is working with La Caravelle to strengthen its action and increase its impact. By donating two CMA CGM containers converted into housing, it is offering these women and their children a safe haven where they can rebuild their lives and look forward to a better future.
