The CMA CGM Foundation and Enfants d'Asie open two new educational centers in Ho Chi Minh City

The CMA CGM Foundation and Enfants d'Asie are strengthening their partnership with the renovation of two new social and educational centers in Ho Chi Minh City.

Located in District 7 and Go Vap, these centers have been completely upgraded and expanded, with the acquisition of new school equipment, including books, desks and computers, to improve the learning conditions for children.

On December 3, 2025, more than 20 CMA CGM Group employees and 60 children accompanied by Enfants d'Asie met for a sports day combining football, pickleball and badminton, held on the inauguration.

In 2024, the CMA CGM Foundation and Enfants d'Asie had already enabled the renovation of three socio-educational centers in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. In total, the five centers now welcome more than 3,000 children aged 6 to 18 and their families, allowing them to benefit from quality academic and psycho-social follow-up.

The Foundation and the CMA CGM Group employees mobilized

As part of this initiative, the CMA CGM Foundation has also awarded one-year scholarships to nearly 120 children to support them in their studies, to purchase essential school equipment (uniforms, school bags, etc.), as well as to cover the compulsory insurance costs (health and accidents).

The Foundation also helps finance tutoring in Vietnamese, mathematics, and English to support struggling students and prevent school dropout across the five renovated centers.

Finally, the CMA CGM Group's employees in Vietnam are committed to Enfants d'Asie throughout the year, through the organization of activities to discover the professional environment, mentoring sessions and annual sports meetings.

A shared commitment to improve access to education in Vietnam

The CMA CGM Foundation places education at the heart of its priorities and actively supports initiatives led by actors operating as close as possible to the field. Since 2005, it has collaborated with associations and NGOs around the world, allowing the construction, renovation and development of 24 centers and schools in Côte d'Ivoire, India, Indonesia and Brazil.

Enfants d'Asie, present in Vietnam since 1995, supports disadvantaged children, teenagers and students. Its projects focus on children's access to education and training, providing them with psycho-social support, and fighting against school dropout.

Founded in 1991, Enfants d'Asie's mission is to support vulnerable children in Southeast Asia to help them escape poverty. Currently present in four Southeast Asian countries - Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia and Laos – Enfants d’Asie carries out activities for nearly 7,000 children and young people every year, including 2,000 in Vietnam.
