« CMA CGM Excellence Fund for Education »: Launch of the 3rd Cohort of Scholars at HEC Paris

- Every year, 145 young Lebanese talents are admitted at renown universities through the “CMA CGM Excellence Fund for Education” program.
- A program deployed at HEC Paris and École Polytechnique in France, Oxford University, Imperial College, and King's College in the UK, as well as the American University of Beirut (AUB), Saint Joseph University (USJ), and the École Supérieure des Affaires (ESA) in Lebanon.
- Launch of the 3rd cohort or 18 students at HEC Paris.
For the third year, a class of Lebanese students supported by the “CMA CGM Excellence Fund for Education” program has arrived on the HEC Paris campus. Awarded based on merit and socio-economic situation, this individual support enables many young talents to realize their career ambitions. The program covers many fields of study, from finance to business management, science, social sciences, engineering, mathematics, AI and technology.
As a global player in maritime, land, air and logistics solutions and a major employer in Lebanon with over 2,330 employees, CMA CGM Group has launched this ambitious scholarship program in 2021 to support Lebanese students of merit and promote academic excellence.
Every year, 145 students realize their professional ambitions by joining the program’s top partner universities:
- In Lebanon: American University of Beirut (AUB), Université Saint-Joseph (USJ) and École Supérieure des Affaires (ESA),
- In France : HEC Paris and École Polytechnique,
- In the UK: Oxford University, Imperial College and King's College.
The aim of the “CMA CGM Excellence Fund for Education” is to promote the training of tomorrow’s Lebanese leaders who will be able to join major multinational companies, such as the CMA CGM Group, or put their talents at the service of Lebanon and its people, thereby contributing to the economic reconstruction of their country.
This summer, all the students supported by the “CMA CGM Excellence Fund for Education” were welcomed by the CMA CGM Group at its regional headquarters in Lebanon. This was an opportunity for the scholars to meet each other and discover the Group.
