Benoît Grout de Beaufort

Benoît Grout de Beaufort currently holds the position of Captain within the CMA CGM Group's fleet of ships.

 

His main mission is the management of the ship under his command. As such, he is the company's representative on board, responsible for managing all activities, particularly the safety of the ship and its crew, environmental preservation, work organization, and the control of the ship at sea and in port.

 

A graduate of the National Merchant Marine Academy of Le Havre, he joined the CMA CGM Group in 2005 as a cadet officer before advancing through various officer roles on board the Group's ships.

 

He participated in the final stages of the construction of the CMA CGM JACQUES SAADE, the Group's flagship, before being appointed Captain in 2021.
